Yo, dudes! Come down to the Alberta St. Pub tonight (10/27) for the 2nd Suck My Flick film competition, and more importantly, the premier of Dude Mountain Episode 5!
The event starts around 8, but based on last month’s attendance, you may want to show up earlier to get a seat. We’re gonna be there at, like, 6:30 or something!
It’s super fun, you get to hang with us, there’s no cover, and there’s booze! And you can help us win another kickass trophy!

Scripting is complete! Production has begun! We have some truly excellent new costumes courtesy of our costume-and-makeup-sorceress-supreme, Virginia! And we did a night of shooting with our good friend and webmaster, Aaron!

Fingers are crossed for releasing Ep. 5 next Tuesday night (10/27) at the Alberta St Pub’s 2nd film contest. We need to win that shit again and get more gold trophies! I hope that it’s a bear this time. That would look badass next to our bobcat trophy from last time.

Dude Mountain is ridiculous. I have this sinking feeling we are all a year out from television getting as ballsy and completely stupid as the attempted poignancy in these shorts. That said, I identified with and laughed at more than I care to admit whilst watching the episodes on this site that launched just a few days ago. My feelings aside about ‘the point’, there is an undeniable purity to seeing a couple of knuckle-heads just trying to make people laugh, as opposed to worrying about writing a joke based around a new Snapple product.
